Assay Developer

Executive Director/Chief Science Officer
DESCRIPTION: Manages facility, its programs, interface with academic institutions and regional companies as well as provide input to and interface with various state organizations and the state legislature. Hires, leads, and manages the professional team supporting research and development of therapeutics, vaccines and biomarkers that result from the universities and industry. Responsible business development including; obtaining state and federal funding, supporting university research grant submissions, negotiating service contracts, and insuring OTRADI sustainability. Candidate must possess appropriate biological and chemical training and experience. Ideally the candidate will have previous experience in high throughput screening facility.
