It is a pleasure to add this photo from the April 24 “Women of Influence” luncheon in Portland.

Dr. Jennifer Fox, executive director of the Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute and OTRADI Bioscience Incubator, has been named to the Portland Business Journal’s (PBJ) 2014 list of top 25 women business executives in the Northwest. The Award recipients, recognized recently at the Hilton Hotel in Portland, were selected from nearly 250 nominees.
The 11th annual award program on April 24 honored “Women of Influence” who have, according to the PBJ, “Made a difference in their communities, blazed a trail for the rest of us and are leaving a mark on the Pacific Northwest community.”
Dr. Fox was nominated in the non-profit category for Woman Executive of the Year. Her recognition attests to her innovation in her field, outstanding performance in her business and meaningful community involvement.
A founding scientist of OTRADI, Dr. Fox helped to define the organization’s mission, increased its collaboration with Oregon bioscience companies and established OTRADI’s high-throughput screening laboratory. She also provided the vision for, planned, and directed the build-out of the state’s first bioscience incubator in 2013.
