Expertise

As they propel their research to the next level, OBI client companies benefit from access to OTRADI’s staff of experts, who are onsite to provide research and business development support. OTRADI staff of senior bioscience researchers is proficient in advanced robotics and equipment and available to support OBI client companies as needed. OTRADI also has a team of experts in business development and entrepreneurship, who provide ongoing counsel to OBI clients as they look to expand.

With its proximity to Portland’s life sciences cluster and through longstanding relationships with the area’s university and health and sciences systems, OTRADI provides OBI client companies with access to some of the most respected, influential thought leaders and decision makers in the industry. Networking Hour

Networking Hour is an opportunity for OBI client companies to connect with one another, OTRADI staff and professionals in the health and sciences field. During monthly networking events, experts from around Oregon present on topics including bioscience, entrepreneurial development and cross-industry partnership. At these events, OBI client companies truly benefit from the accelerator’s collaborative nature.

OBI Entrepreneurs in Residence

Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIR) is a rotating group of experts versed in bioscience, business development and entrepreneurship. Each EIR is Oregon-based and invested in the state’s bioscience sector. EIRs share space with client companies, providing onsite counsel and mentorship to bioscience-focused entrepreneurs as they reach the next phase of business growth. Current EIRs are Oregon Bioscience Association Executive Director Dennis McNannay and Northwest Technology Ventures Managing Director Bill Newman.
