- Assembled the
Oregon Collection
: a library of novel, locally-sourced chemical compounds contributed by researchers from OSU, U of O, PSU, and OHSU/VA Medical Center. - Successfully completed primary screening of the Oregon Collection of chemicals for anti-malarial, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal drug-like activity.
- Identified, from these experiments, 28 chemicals with novel, anti-malarial activity and 29 chemicals with novel, anti-bacterial activity against E. coli and/or Staph. bacteria.
- Helped establish new inter-university collaborations between affiliated Oregon researchers, based on OTRADI's experimental results.
- Contributed scientific work/data to submitted or pending research grants for Oregon totaling > $6M.
- Named as a supporting collaborator/institute on grants submitted by Oregon researchers to federal and private agencies totaling $5.3M.
