The upcoming WIS PDX Professional Development Mixer “Navigating Conflict in the Workplace” is a great resource for tackling this topic. \nThis event will feature a talk from Mary Lind\, a conflict management specialist at OHSU\, who will share a variety of tools and resources for fostering professional relationships as well as how to manage strained relationships and work towards resolution. You will have the opportunity to practice conflict resolution with other attendees based on what you’ve learned from Lind’s presentation. You will also have the chance to network with others across the full spectrum of fields and career paths in the sciences. There will be unlimited pizza and a raffle drawing for some great WIS gear. \nThis all-ages mixer will take place on November 11th from 6:00 to 8:30 (check-in begins at 5:30) at Lucky Labrador Beer Hall in NW Portland.
