Danica Bojovic, Ph.D., who recently completed her doctorate in neuroscience at OHSU, will join Steve Runnels, CEO of Myosana Therapeutics and OHSU entrepreneur-in-residence, for a conversation on communicating scientific innovations to audiences beyond academia.

Bojovic recently pitched her research on astrocytes and brain health at the BIO 2025 Conference Innovation Showcase, earning both the Judges’ Choice Award and People’s Choice Award in translational research. Drawing from their experiences in research, innovation and commercialization, Bojovic and Runnels will discuss strategies for developing effective elevator pitches, communicating complex scientific concepts clearly and tailoring messages for different audiences, including industry partners and investors.
