Only 5% of Russel 3000 companies have gender balanced boards, and only 20% of corporate directorships are held by women. The numbers are even lower among startups. Yet Harvard Business Review research shows that gender balanced boards can create more egalitarian board cultures, improve governance, and increase financial returns. Join us for an intimate and interactive discussion with industry experts as we discuss duties of corporate directors, best practices for executives working with boards and for boards managing executives, and how women can most effectively prepare to take their place in the board room.
