TAO’s “Resiliency Series” was created as an opportunity for community members to hear directly from elected officials and key community stakeholders about issues related to the resiliency of our region.
Join TAO President & CEO Skip Newberry for a conversation with Oregon Secretary of State, Shemia Fagan, who was elected to office this past November.
Second in line to become Governor should the Governor resign or die while in office, the Oregon Secretary of State oversees auditing, elections, archives and the State’s business registry. During her campaign for office in 2020, Secretary Fagan said she would make expanding voting access a top priority if elected. Notably, Secretary Fagan is likely going to be responsible for determining how to redraw legislative boundaries across the State of Oregon during her term.
