TAO Power Pairing: Women Leading in Tech

September 9, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am

  • This event has passed.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The 2021 Power Pairing series features quarterly “fireside chat-style” interviews with women leaders from the Oregon and SW Washington tech community. Featured guests share their life stories and career journeys, including strategies that have helped them thrive and lessons they’ve learned along the way.

While we originally planned for an in-person event, we have decided to keep this event virtual due to the increase of COVID cases in Oregon. We’ll start the event with a round of networking where participants will have a chance to connect with other women in tech and explore themes of leadership.

Each event attendee will receive $15 credit to have a breakfast of their choice delivered to their residence. Grab your coffee and join us for a fun, empowering event!

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
C-Suite, VP, and Director-level women (and their mentee/emerging leader) from technology companies, start-ups, and tech-enabled organizations across Oregon and SW Washington.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Throughout the 2021 Power Pairing series, participants will have the opportunity to consider the changing roles of women in the workplace, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing women in leadership roles – both formal and informal. Participants will learn more about the impact that women leaders can have on their organizations—and the impact that leadership roles can have on the women who hold them.

Featured guests will share their perspectives on these issues:

How do you define leadership? How does your definition manifest in your leadership style?
How has your leadership style adapted and evolved over your career?
Have you benefited from a mentor or coach? Have you taken on this role for more junior women in your workplace?
How do you manage work/life balance?
What advice would you offer to other women who are looking to lead in their workplaces or start a company?

Power Pairing
An intimate, online workshop curated for C-Suite, VP and Director-level executive women from tech companies, and those who aspire to senior leadership. We also welcome and encourage executive-level leaders to register women they have mentored or identified as emerging leaders looking to take that next step in their careers.
