Please join the Small Business Development Center, Mount Hood Community College, and  the Technology Association of Oregon (TAO)  for our 2022 Cyber Series on the 4th Tuesday of the month from February through September to learn the fundamentals of cybercrime and cybersecurity to better protect your business.

Get those calendars out and browse the lineup of the remaining session dates in this series below! As we near specific event dates, topics and featured guests will be confirmed and communicated.

The National Institute of Standards and Technology defines a cyber incident as “actions taken through the use of an information system or network that result in an actual or potentially adverse effect on an information system, network, and/or the information residing therein” which is a much more thorough definition than saying, “you’ve been hacked.” Regardless of the terminology, being prepared for when an incident does occur takes time and forethought. In an era where cyber incidents are on the rise, ensuring you have a cyber incident response plan means you know how to respond to a serious security incident, such as a data breach, data leak, ransomware attack, or loss of sensitive information.
