About this event
How do you talk to your kids about racism? Should you? What age do you start? The world changed with the murder of George Floyd and believe me, kids have noticed. We’ll talk about how to navigate conversations about racism with kids (and adults) and answer submitted questions along the way.

You can find a video of Jelani reading his book here. Please bring questions to the event. Your families are encouraged to attend too. All questions are welcome.

Speaker Bio: Jelani Memory (He/Him) is a Black entrepreneur, thinker, and constant learner. He lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife and six kids. He still wants to be an artist when he grows up.
