Just as the United States is in a critical moment to examine its history of racial oppression, we, as global citizens, need to more deeply investigate the ways in which colonialism has informed are work. Across our conceptions of rank, power, agency, and worth, the legacy of colonialism informs our shared experiences of bias and exclusion at work.
We believe it is time for us to develop a rich, intercultural approach to how we frame and name issues of power, privilege, worth and belonging, in service of more deeply understanding how to create a future of inclusion, belonging and creative collaboration.
