Senior Vendor Manager

Position Overview:

The Platform Partner Management (PPM) team manages 3rd party vendor partners for Autodesk’s Cloud Platform (Forge). This includes cloud-native vendor partners across domains such as API Management, Security, Databases, SAAS/PAAS providers, Localization, Service and staff augmentation providers. The Senior Partner Manager is responsible for managing a variety of these vendor partner relationships including contracting, performance management, issue management, stakeholder management and being a key partner in risk and financial management.


Support specific areas of the business and manage all their vendor accounts
Create and manage vendor partner management policies and procedures. Ensure vendor compliance with Autodesk’s documented policies and procedures
Key stakeholder in vendor partner management lifecycle including sourcing, contracting, onboarding, participating in negotiations, issue management, to off-boarding
Work with Business, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Security teams on RF(x) processes, technical vendor evaluations, security assessments, and other projects as needed
Work with Business, Procurement, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure contracts have appropriate terms and conditions, service level agreements, key performance indicators, and escalation processes
Responsible for contract management including compliance, oversight, and adherence to change control procedures. Monitor and ensure contract renewals are planned and executed well in advance of expiry
Monitor vendor partner performance, financial status, SLA/KPI monitoring. Drive and facilitate any disputes between business and supplier to resolution
Set up regular check-ins with vendor account managers, facilitate regular conversations between the business unit/stakeholder(s) and vendor operations teams
Plan and conduct regular business reviews and executive meetings at a cadence agreed with the business unit/stakeholder
Support the business in demand planning and monitor against the plan. Flag overages and additional budget asks well in advance
Partner with platform team to ensure all relevant vendor data is automated and available on dashboards

Minimum Qualifications:

10+ years of progressive experience in management of 3rd party vendor partner relationships critical to a cloud and platform technology business
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with executive leadership and provide updates/status reports or deliver presentations and recommendations
Excellent analytical, organizational, tactical and strategic planning, presentation (verbal, and written) communication skills
Ability to read and interpret legal documents such as contracts, terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements
Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of the PPM team
Ability to establish workflows, manage multiple projects, and meet necessary deadlines

About the Oregon Bioscience Incubator (OBI)


Established in 2007, OTRADI (Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute) is a non-profit research and economic development organization based in Portland, Oregon. OTRADI’s mission is to fuel economic development of Oregon’s bioscience industry by growing successful companies that translate innovative research into products benefitting health and wellness, and that create and retain high-wage jobs in Oregon.


In 2013, OTRADI launched the Oregon Bioscience Incubator (OBI), Oregon’s leading bioscience-focused startup business incubator. The OBI has helped fill a critical and growing need in Oregon’s expanding bioscience industry by providing top-notch laboratory facilities, and by connecting entrepreneurs with essential training, funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities. The OBI is currently home to thirty-one startups, developing promising diagnostic, medical device, therapeutic, health IT, digital health, and wearable healthcare technologies. In addition to promoting the growth and success of client companies, the OBI serves as a resource for more than sixty other affiliated startups across Oregon and assists more than three-hundred entrepreneurs a year.


The digital health sector in Oregon has more than doubled in the past biennium. OTRADI has determined there are currently 130+ Digital Health companies in the State of Oregon, and this number continues to grow as adoption of connected devices and personalized medicine skyrockets. While there are multiple incubators and accelerators in Oregon, none of them specializes in advancing the success of digital health companies. Current unmet needs include: programs with a digital health focus, accessible community workspace and a united team of mentors, advisors and funders. By compiling and consolidating qualitative and quantitative data from disparate sources, OBI’s goal is to brand space and specific programs with a Digital Health focus so we can bridge these gaps for Digital Health companies in Oregon.


The Digital Health Data Analytics Intern will be an integral member of the OBI team and will perform the following duties:

Compile and consolidate qualitative and quantitative data from disparate sources regarding digital health

Research complete digital health eco-system in present-day market globally as well as Oregon state specific initiatives related to digital health

Apply research methods including online research, database/Excel management and analytics

Conduct research and aggregate data to inform business decisions

Create database to manage information including qualitative and quantitative data

Communicate results to project owners, providing advice on action(s) to be taken

Responds to ad-hoc requests

Must be comfortable initiating outreach to partners and community members across all levels


Essential Responsibilities for this Role

  • Prior experience and familiarity with basic research methods including online research, database/Excel management and analytics
  • Ability to think analytically, apply analytical techniques and to provide in-depth analysis for potential recommendations to internal customers
  • Prior experience conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with all levels of the work force
  • Excellent analytical problem solving and critical thinking/creative research skills
  • Knowledge of analytical tools including Excel a must
  • Ability to participate in a team atmosphere to achieve goals and objectives consistent with the organization’s strategy
  • Able to work independently when given an assignment and complete a professional deliverable
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with survey programming software preferred
  • Ability to transform disparate pieces of information into an understandable framework in graphics form or actionable recommendations
  • Ability to skillfully identify and understand research nuances
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Image Analysis AI/ML Engineer for Life Sciences

AI/ML Design, Development, and Verification Engineering for Image Processing for Life Sciences

Responsibilities: AI/ML Development and Validation Engineering:

Development tasks (but not limited to): (1) Code development (in Python at first, and later other languages) using existing frameworks (more than one, likely – e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras); (2) Integrating with existing and newly available software for cryo-EM workflows (both opensource and commercial); (3) Analyzing performance and optimizing for the environments (with the use of tools from Intel and NVIDIA); (4) Implementing web and application user interfaces (Python, JavaScript, etc.)

Validation tasks: (1) Performing unit and system-level tests; (2) Verifying the consistency with various public datasets, working with beta customers for problem reproduction and root-cause

Software Engineering Discipline:  He/she will observe software development disciplines: (1) Code reviews and walk-throughs; (2) Incremental and full software generation; (3)  Software packaging; (4) Maintenance, version control; (5) Documentation; (6) Bug logging and tracking

Education and Experience: (1) The candidates will have a minimum of a B.S/B.A. in computer science and/or mathematics or a related field. Master’s degree candidates preferred.  Those pursuing graduate degrees will be considered as well; (2) Experience in code development and software release is essential. Should be familiar with Unix/Linux Operating Systems; (3) Should be familiar with AI/ML frameworks.  Should have experience and/or knowledge in neural network design, selection of hyper-parameters, and such techniques as Transfer Learning, Ensemble; (4) Experience in image analysis would be highly desirable; (5) Should be willing to provide code samples (preferably via a Github repository); (6) Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.
