Drug Discovery.

Scientific Collaboration.

Accelerated Commercialization.

The Oregon Translational Research and Drug Development Institute (OTRADI) is a signature research center dedicated to providing a unique — and previously missing — link between Oregon university researchers and biotech or pharmaceutical companies to fuel drug discovery and commercialization in Oregon.

EDA i6 Award Winner

OTRADI is among only six winners of the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) i6 Challenge Award - a $12 million innovation competition administered by the EDA, in partnership with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Science Foundation (NSF).

via partnerships with Oregon university researchers, private bioscience businesses, the life science industry, and public and private funders.

About OTRADI

OTRADI's foundation is based on a partnership between university scientists and researchers, bioscience and pharmaceutical companies, and the state of Oregon. OTRADI makes tools (expertise, equipment, analysis), which were previously unavailable or prohibitively expensive, readily available and accessible to Oregon's scientific investigators.
